Default egr pics?

hey, Im looking for a pic of the part of the egr system that you guys block off on the IM. All of the pics from older threads are gone. can someone please post a pic if they have one? thanks

the egr is right next to the thermo housing on the intake side of the manifold

go to top left corner of valve cover. look there. or follow iacv left ull run right into it.

You can block off the first two things you took pictures of too. One is the starting air valve, and the other is the fast idle thermo valve.

*edit* sorry I didnt understand your question...I thought you were asking about the valve cover lol.
I havn't taken the egr valve off yet but when I do im going to use a KMS plate to cover it along with a hondata heatshield. I was just saying that it will be nice once its removed because I didn't realize how much other **** comes out with it.

Is this mod ok for a daily driver? I feel that my cooling system is up to par to handle it. I hope it is because I just ordered the hondata gasket and kms blocking plate

If you switch to a P28 (or equivalent) ECU you can completely remove the EGR system.




There have been a few threads on removing extra junk from under the hood. Good luck.

that does look better with all that extra junk cleared out but damn, I've been thinking about griding the DOHC VTEC off the valvecover of my new build too, I've never seen anyone do that before.... I guess I won't be original now

people have been shaving that off for about a year now that Ive seen. Maybe some people even further back. I first saw it on Craigs (Crdcz) 4th gen on po.com
