i would post this in the radio/alarm section, youll get more responses there.

as far as radio's being stolen and you giving out codes for free. bah.... cerritos honda gives out radio codes over the phone among other well known dealerships in socal.

its just a radio, hence why even the dealership wont ask for any identification prior to giving you the code.

post away man. but like i said lock this and start one in the correct section.

I hate to bust ur bubble but there aren't a whole lot of thieves that are "dying to get their hands on a OEM honda radio code."

Seriously, the radio's like 20 bux used, if that. . I say he's doing everybody a good service, though PM'ing would be better, opposed to just "posting it."

i personally think its a good service. I have been looking for someone to help me for a while. I bought my car, used of course, and I never had the magic code to even use the radio. I didnt feel like paying $60+ for them to give it to me.

I do think pm's are probably the best way to go about it.

thats for removing the radio from the car. not for the code. the code is free at dealerships....

the code is free on certain cars not all radios have the abilty to tell you the serial from the face plate. And yes on some cars the serial is in the glove box, but it all depends on what dealership you purchased the vehicle from. other wise you do have to tear your center console apart to get the serial.

this is incorrect.. the retrieving the code is free all the time and on all honda/acura oem radios regardless of car make or model.

like i said earlier cost are involved only if the radio is removed by the tech.
