I still need to put the fire system, AFFF like you were saying, and the window net for the car to be legal. In the mean time I have to HPDE like mad to get my license.
I guess it's just a matter of time with school, work, and business to toss around.

Check out Safecraft. They are up in your area. Good guys.
Their Halon system is the hot set up for NASA. Halon is 4-5 times more effective per pound than the new FE-36 stuff. Since NASA does not require an annual certification sticker -- they just look at the gauge -- Halon is a MUCH better choice for us. You'll begin to hear more and more about FE-36 as the new SFI 17.1 certification only allows Halon thru Jan 8th, 2008. But trust me, you want Halon. The only reason to get the new stuff is if you run under rules that require SFI 17.1 (we don't) or would rather make an environmental statement than put out your fire.
Also, all the new SFI stuff says that The system must be inspected ONLY by the original manufacturer or their approved agent. No manufacturer may inspect or re-certify another's system. The NASCAR guys don't care because the fire system manufacturers go to them. But if little guys like us what something serviced, charged or certified we have to box it up and ship it. The moral is, if there's a good fire system manufacturer near you, that's who you should buy it from.
Thawley -- who has watched all this get harder and harder each year trying to re-certify a system for another car that is required to have an annual inspection sticker. <sigh>

mmm purple huh? Reminds me of my dinner last night when I asked the waiter about what different types of ice tea they have. When he started responding I got a sense of a lisp and I regretted asking thinking that he might be thinking I was hitting on him. Later I ask a different waiter where the restroom was and he told me giving me a thought "WTF is everyone that works here gay?"
So are those bushings better or worse than stock?

Thanks Thawley! I'll look into those guys. Andrie suggested that I go with SPA or something. I still have a bit of time and I actually found a good thread about them on NASA.

I can't really say. I only had the chance to take the car out on the track once at Reno, and I think I was having more trouble with the car overheating than anything else. They are spherical so I'm assuming they are better than stock rubber.
