Default Wats up guys im new.

wats going on everybody i just bought my 06 SI 3 days ago and im hooked! i bought the car wit 2640 miles on it and sadly its been raining for the past week so i havent had a chance to push it, ive popped the v-tec a couple of times but nothing 2 serious. i thinking about taking it out for a spin wednesday the 15TH so if theres anyone in the NJ north bergen area that wants to put something 2gether hit me up and let me know. Anyway now 2 the real reason im posting, my car pulls to the right under acceleration at first i though it was an allignment problem but i was told at the dealership that it was because the car comes with a torque pull is this true???? also i still have breaking oil and just have 2763 miles on the car should i change it??? also when i try to measure the oil it doesnt mark on my dip stick???? is it empty, but then again my oil lamp doesnt go on so wats the deal?? if anyone hears my cry plez get back at me. thnx!

your dealership is full of crap, it shouldn't be pulling in any direction, no matter what they say. the alignment is prolly still messed up, and thats what the warranty is for. if they dont honor that, ask for the supervisor and give them hell until they budge. a lot of dealerships are ****** about this kind of stuff.

also the dipstick on the fg's are kinda funky, refer to the manual on how to properly gauge them, they just have little droplets of oil instead of classic dipsticks that make it easier to read. the manual should answer your questions.

have fun, i wish i got the SI

and change the oil around 3500, theres supposed to be some additives in the first oil batch thats supposed to help break in your car until around 3800, from what a tech at my dealership told me.

There is a TSB for the pulling to the right, birng it in AND ask them to check your oil.

I'd come out on teh 15th but i'll be at honda getting my broken pass seat fixed

There's a TSB for it pulling to the right? Time to call my service department. Thankfully, it's pretty minor, but annoying none-the-less.

Change the oil according to the maintinence minder(typically you can go for 5k, depending on driving conditions)... Theres NO reason to change your oil so soon.

I was up playing too much Need For Speed the other night, and I had a dream that I was drifting around the track in my Si. So, yeah, it'll drift....in my dreams .

Drift? In a front wheel drive car? That's not right. lol

One of the guys who works on my car competition drifts in his turbo'ed Solara. He took me drifting with him once, never again. Scared the crap out of me.

A Solara? Yeep, that would look like a whale attempting to dance...

But, yeah, no drifting in our cars without some serious suspension setups and e-brake happy people.
