Default Lowering: Best compromise

Car: 94 ej1 w/boosted b16

What would be just a step down from OE ride comfort but a step or two up from OE handling? I am looking for the best compromise. I currently have Omni adustable spings 448/336 spring rates, and tokico ilumminas, handling is awesome, but its pretty rough. I plan on replacing both the struts and adjustable springs, what should I look into? some have sugested H&R non adjustable springs. is there anything else that might offer a comfortable ride while lowering a bit?

progress springs. works wonders on my daily driver and weekend warrior eg2. very nice handling compared to stock springs and not too bumpy around the street. Also the kyb AGX shocks are a great buy for the money, but you really can't beat koni yellows.

yeah, those generic cheap springs that omni uses are way too stiff for any good use.

i suggest you dial all the way back to eibach pro kits.

your illuminas could be a bit worn from those springs, but i would try new springs first. illuminas have a lifetime warranty anyway.

ive had my progress springs for over 2 years now and they're still riding great. they do NOT sag like other springs also. The finish on the springs is still like new and I consider them to be very high quality. No complaints on ride quality now vs. 2 years ago.
