use the EP rails and get 3 bolts down. Not very safe imo but it will work

Whoa, attitude huh? lol. I guess I was researching with the wrong words. Sorry, and thanks. It will work. Case closed. Unless some one has some specific EP3 instructions.

i did the same thing. i had some ep3 seats at one time. outside the car, i absolutely loved em. but inside the car, i hated em. i actually had them in my eg hatch. pretty much same chassis though...as far as how the cockpit sits and how the seats bolt down. i fabricated my own brackets and they were as low to the floor as i could get em. i bolted em in and when i sat in the seat, the tops of my knees hit the bottom of the steering wheel and i felt like i was driving a semi. hard to reach the shifter since you're up so high. im not a big guy either. maybe 5'9" and 140 lbs. thats just my $.02. i love the seats, but only in an Ep.

lol what did you expect? for it to just fit? Apparently not since you were asking for a how to. But yeah...fabricating is just about the only way.

Word. I'll check 'em out see how they feel. If not I'll just have to flip 'em.

They sit slightly higher than stock DC seats and are heavier ( side airbags). But hey, if you like em, go for it.

well I havent seen an ep3 seat but I did swap DC2 seat pans into my S2K seat. granted the S2K seatpans are similar to EG seat pans. rear mounts for the brackets are different.

but nonetheless the most important part is that the seat pan mounts the same to the brackets and sliders from DC2/EG/EK and sort of S2K.

I would have to see detailed pics of the EP3 seat pan and the way the sliders bolt up to it.

the side air bag in mine was underneath a plastic cover on the outside of the seat...... on the driver's seat, the airbag was on the door panel side and the same for the passenger side. i know mine had them, but maybe they changed the design or something and added side airbags sometime during the 02-05 model years or whatever.

hey man i don't know if its just me but...the stock seatsin any honda are heavy the weigh too much....i would sell the ep seats n get some aftermarket seats....like some mugen buckets..or some sparco buckets...but if u really like the ep's keep um dude.....try 2 get the ep seat brackets n u might have 2 make your own holes 2 fit'em in properly
