Autopower installed!!! Plus a few other goodies (56k eh ok)
First up is the Autopower 4 point. Picked this sucker up a week ago(thanx Nate
) and had it sprayed Milano Red to keep with my "red" theme. I couldn't be happier
. It will be hard to stick padding over the beautiful color but, alas, it must be done. Here are some shots:

I also picked up a Comptech Icebox(thanx Gil
) to replace the J's that I sold. I'm happy with it. I sits nicely in the engine bay. Powerband seems more linear than with the J's. I prefer it actually. We all know what it looks like but I'll post a pic anyway

The major difference came from the Import Builders intake manifold. Basically a ported and polished JDM piece. http://www.importbuilders.com for more info. Outstanding quality. Big ups to Jeff for giving me a great deal and a decent shipping cost(I'm a Canadian eh!)
Notice the weld

I also had an Outlaw spacer kit put in as well. Pretty self explanitory. I'll let the pics do the talkin'

All in all I'm very happy with everything. The difference with the rollbar is AMAZING!!!!! No joke. The car is tight all the way through. Even some of my "creaks" are gone now. With the car breathing a bit better there is gobs of torque. Most likely a combo of the intake, manifold and spacers. My car feels really different now. It's crazy how much low end there is now.

nice man, but i don't see no "red theme" going on except for the rollbar!! do you have any pictures of the Outlaw spacer kit un-installed?? new to that peice, what's the purpose of it
JunR: No un-installed pics, sorry. The Outlaw spacer kit is designed to keep the air in the intake manifold a tad cooler by separating it via the head and TB gasket. Basically the same idea as the Hondata gasket, only only thicker and at the TB also. The "red theme consists of the AEM ****(cam gears, fuel rail, FPR and filter), Comptech rear lower tie bar, OMP hood pins, Rays lug nuts and, of course, the factory red stitching in the seat, shifter boot and beautiful valve cover

Looks like you had to cut aroind your rear interior panels to fit the roll bar. Is this normal with most Autopower Rollbars? I have one that started out as a 6 point cage and had the front section cut off and it fits damn near perfect thorugh the rear speaker holes. Just curious, the paint on the bar looks great.
Technically it will fit with some very minor cutting but I didnt want it rubbing on the panels. Due to the angle of the bar the trimming was required so there was absolutely no touching of the panels. No biggie; I'm going to get some very thin weather stripping and put it around that area so it looks clean
Awesome man.
I too like my Comptech Intake. Not that it matters but the red paint on the badge came off. I guess I got the bling addition.

The red bar is hot! I kinda wish I'd painted mine PY before putting it in, I guess I could take it out but I'm waaaay to lazy for that

You could still paint it, Chris. Obviously, an airbrush works best but a quality brush actually does pretty well
Looks good, other Chris!

man, i have been debating an autopower bar, just the street model with the harness bar, but i just really don't want to mess with the interior plastic. that is honestly the only thing holding me back from the purchase.

</TD></TR></TABLE>the diameter of the bars of an autopower 6-POINT is not as large as the one from a 4-POINT. i had to do some very minor trimming on my panel to fit my 4-point, but my friend's 6 had no problem fitting without us having to do the same trimming. i guess the 6-point was designed to have the load ditribute to well, "6-points", which is why it is not as hefty as the 4 point bars.

I guess im the lucky one... When I I still had my interior in I didnt have to cut anything to make it fit

dont get me wrong...AP did a good job of designing their rollbar so no modification of the rear panels is "required". i only trimmed mine slightly right below the speaker cutout because i'm so **** about details
