Altezzas are gay but I want some
Alright I'm looking at some taillights for my EG, and I know that 95% of you will hate on me for this, but I think they look sleek on the EGs. There are two new styles of taillights out, and I need new ones since I broke mine
. I don't want stock taillights because I love the looks of LEDs.
Our first nominee is:
And our second is:
They look clean, they aren't cheap. Th euse the stock wiring. I think its just about being a little different. Feel free to flame, as long as I get an honest opinion from somebody.
Thanks,
Rob

Yeah, I don't like the chrome. I think the second ones look nice, without looking junky. I just want something that's nice in the day, but lights up really nice at night.

Both look horribly ricey. They're trying for the LED-look that's on cadillacs and other luxury cars but they end up just looking stupid. They aren't even real LEDs. They just put a bunch of lightbulbs in rows in a desperate attempt to seem like an LED. I think it looks even worse than a single bulb.
These are probably the least ricey, but most different from stock tails that I know of. I'd sport them if I had the money.

If not for the reground cam you're getting for the sohc, you'd be in that category too
I think the 1st are more rice. I don't know what people will think of what I'm planning on doing - hacking OEM's (EF sedan) and putting in 72 high-intensity LED's. I already have 20 added in the OEM 3rd brake light. So... if you like wiring, I'd say go with the 'SI/EX' ZeeSix posted, but put your own LEDs in there.
BTW, I'm using LED's for safety, not rice. Everyone besides me in my family has been rear-ended (all had debilitating injuries), and the extra 10-15 feet of stopping distance they give make them worth it.

Alright. More helpful than I had anticipated. I think if anything the second ones, since I have a black EG, it'll look nicer. I've considered the JDM styles, but I want something that looks a little stealthier.

Well since you have a black EG and looking for a stealthy look, i wouldnt go with red/clear tails...it will be a little bright. JDM or OEM tails bro.

Honestly they're both ricey, but the second ones are nowhere near as ricey as the first.
Jesus christ the first one's belong on a god damn airplane.
I wouldn't buy either and I'd slap any of my friends for using them.
