is my motor going to be okay?
I left my motor out with a tarp over it. The tarp blew off and it got snowed on for about 30 minutes. I dried what i seen was wet, wires valve cover intake manifold dizzy, and put a towel the tarp and a garbage bag over it.
did snow get inside the motor? u shouldve plugged all ports with rags or plastic.
im assuming this is a spare motor? ive seen motors left out for seasons, installed and started with poofs of smoke. im sure ull be fine.
i power washed one engine, water got into spark ports, couldnt dry it all up, pulled plugs and crank, watch the water shoot out like little fountains. plugs back in, started no prb...
they do that with roll overs, oil gets into the cylinders, its the only easy way to compress out anything that doesnt ignite.

Were the spark plugs in? And were the intake and exhaust manifolds on? You will be fine either way, just pour a little bit of oil in the cylinders before you turn the engine over.
