Default FS: Comptech header (possibly)

I am in the process of possibly getting a JDM R header in April and am testing the waters to see if anyone would be interested in buying my Comptech header. Let me know if you'd be insterested if I get the R header in April. There are no dents. Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks!

I've had it for about 30k miles (since 1999) and the car has always been garaged. There are no cracks but it has the usual discoloration from heat and time. In other words, it's not a show piece but it's still in great shape and the general shine is still there (as you can see in the picture).

As for price, make me an offer. If you want to get it sooner than April, than I may do a trade for cash and a stock header. Or possibly something with a stock header and carsound cat for a GSR to fit with a JDM R header. Lemme know. You can email me at garylee333@yahoo.com

Thanks for the interest.

Which model header is that?
whats the model & year of the car?
Whats how many miles on the header?
Will it fit a 01 ITR with stock exhaust?
And what is the ball park area figure your looking to get?
Do I ask enough questions?
Oh yeah one more do you have any more pics of it if it will fit My R ?

Here is a link to more pics of the header:

http://www.imagestation.com/album/?id=4290759781

It's off my '99 GSR and it has about 30k miles on the header. I got it late in '99. I am not sure if it will fit an R though. There might be a problem with the length from the the collector to the cat, I think. I don't recall if it's the Tig or Mig welded header. I'll have to check on that for you.

There are some white residue marks on the bottom of the header as you can see in the pics, but no dents or scrapes. I think it's just funk from the California and now Dallas roads. hehe!

As for ballpark price... around $200, give or take. I'm willing to listen to offers. I've maybe averaged about 10k miles a year on it since I got it.

Is this the Hytech copy Comptech? or just the normal as good as DC Comptech?

I'd like to think it's better than the DC, from some of the horror stories I've heard from people on here on build quality od DC headers. I am not sure about the Hytech copy stuff? I think this one pre-dates the Hytech stuff but not sure.

That may be a possibility if you can wait until mid April.

I'll let you know if the guy before you decides he doesn't want it. Otherwise it'll be yours.
