    posted a link on the thread for the speakers I have. The head unit I'm running is a Kenwood Excelon KDCX994. Honestly this setup sounds real vibrant without sounding "boomy" when the deeper mids kick in. Something that poor quality systems will bring out. But it depends on how much you like to listen to music...what kind of music you listen too...and how loud do you like it normally? Just taking a guess, you'll definitely need an amp if you keep your present headunit. Otherwise it won't be able to crank out enough power to your speakers. It's all about taking out (or minimizing) the weakest link in your audio system.

    UMMMM u got the wrong person, I have Skunk 2 Coils. I commented somewhere about coils, someone wanted to know if they should go with coils or springs or something like that. I agree coils are always better hands down that springs eventhough my passenger rear one is being in pain in the ass right now ! my ride hight somehow moved and cant find my keys to move them back
