- Live in Texas, I have a 1994 ls teg, when i bought it it was a car with a bad engine and auto trans. I got the car for 1,000 and put in a new engine, and tranny, but 6 months after I bought the trans i decided to make it manual so I did. The whole swap was on 2-26-06, I got the entire swap for 500 not including the brand new AIHDSS Act clutch kit which cost me 375. Me and a freind of mine did the swap in about a week. took a week because the city closed down the shop while my car was dismanteld due to failure of compliance by the owner of the shop. So my car was basically held hostage. Thats a little background of my teg for you guys.
