    a few steps:

    1. Click on "quote" from the particular reply in the thread.
    2. Copy the quote (ctrl+c or command+c for macs)
    3. Click "user CP" from the top left in the tool bar
    4. Click "edit signature" on the bottom left
    5. Paste the quote

    and you're done
