Got more pics of your det can? I’ve been using this set for years. I bought a $3 stethoscope from hf and cut the ear pieces off, drilled a hole in ear muffs and run them straight into my ears. The ear protection really helps cancel out all the noise so you can actually hear the engine. I’m thinking about getting a much more higher rated set of ear muffs to see if I can make it even better. I did the same as you for the copper pipe that mounts to the engine block.
