Pedal Cluster (2) »

This show's the home-fix to the clutch pedal pivot. I used a small piece of pipe, through-which is running a 7/16 diameter bolt. We decided to braise it together instead of weld, because the old arc welder we have just blows through the stamped sheet metal. I then used a small piece of tubing as a bushing for the pedal itself to pivot on. Unfortunately, the bolt still wasn't strong enough and the damn thing broke again after a year of use. I'm going to attempt to reinforce it even more with some square tubing. I will post updates as I go along.
