New rod. You know, I have the tools and knowledge.. but tend to get obsessive, I was going to say fuck it and trust machine shops work, trust bensoons work, trust part manufactures work,, trust plastigauge.. and just toss it together. By way of plastigauge, my main clearances were awesome, but rods were too tight it seemed.. this is with standard sized ACL race bearings. Sooo then I busted out the tools and such.. it’s damn hard to get an accurate measurement with a snapgauge for ID.
