wheel and tire size limits
looking at getting some 15" Rota Slipstreams for my 2000 integra LS to improve performance, especially handling. what is the widest i can get away with (6.5, 7, 7.5), and what is the smallest offset i can get so my car will have a wider stance(40, 35, etc...), or should i stick with my stock LS mesh or some other cheap light rim. tire opinions would also be appreciated (looking for grippy tires with decent life, and acceptable rain control for a reasonable price. also do i run the risk of overdoing it and getting something too good as to overstress the suspension
thanks
thanks
FIRST decide on the tire model and size you want. THEN decide on the rim width.

The size you need is either 195/55-15 or 205/50-15. I would get the Kumho SPT, $63/tire in 205/50-15 at the Tire Rack. That size goes nicely on a 15x6.5. It will also fit okay on your stock tires.
If you really care about performance and handling, don't mess with the "stance".
