WHEEL IDENTITY! please help!
Ok. so my problem is this: I recently purchased a set of wheels knowing for a fact that they were rare as i'd never seen them ever before. So now after little help anywhere else, and no luck on my own, im coming to honda-tech guru's to help me solve this mystery. So the wheels are these:
Make: Desmond
Model: ????
Size: 16x7 +32
16x8 +35
They are 4/5x114.3 bolt pattern
I can put more photos up at request but have these for now:

They look like similar to the old version of Volk Racing GT-P without the VR centercaps.
Also there's another similar Desmond 6-spoke wheel in this thread, but it has grooves in the spokes that yours don't.

This would be your best bet, when it comes to email addresses.
front@desmond.co.jp
(Keep in mind, that the email will probably need to be in Japanese.)

I've seen that design by Desmond before, but never along with a name/model. I would love to get my hands on some 1980's and 1990's literature from Japan to hopefully flesh out some of these naming conflicts, but it's not like they're any easier to come by.
Well, of course we all know that, however, its easier and safer for us (the less informed) to assume that someone knows every wheel ever made =p
hmm. so as i suspected these desmonds are rather rare. would this put any kind of value on them? what do you guys think they are worth?
lol i feel like im on antique road show or whatever that show was called.

so wouldnt they be called desmond auto strasse or wise sports auto strasse made by desmond? i know wise sports used the desmond foundry for many of their designs.
