Default Value of these "rare" wheels?

I have a set of these on my 95 civic.. I have a few people who have asked about buying them off of me, to which I have politely declined.. until now.

They're 4x100 and have all the dimensions and what not written in the side. I simply cannot find them ANYWHERE online or any information about them. The most I have found is that they might have come off an early '80s honda accord.

All 4 center caps are intact. No bends.. Stamped "Honda Magnesium" on the side.

There is a picture below.. And I'm basically looking for any information from the mighty honda guru's on these.. what they're off of, how old they are, rarity, and value.. Thanks a lot guys!

wow these are impressive. All I know about mag wheels is that they are usually featured on Porsche wheels, racing wheels, and pretty much everything that's expensive.

Damn. I wonder what factory Honda they came from????

You might want to put them on auction and see what they fetch.

I've seen a few sets floating around. The problem is with the size. Yeah, they're magnesium, but they're only 14x5.5. I've seen them go for about 300 - 400 a set when the seller knows what they are.

Then sell them (I'm referring to USD, not CAD as well).

I would definitely sell those for $800...the size isn't big enough to appeal to everyone

Damn, Ive seen the same wheels in the junk yard being used as a make shift jack stand. Not a big market for wheels like these around here.

I know this is an old thread, but it needs answering, and this may be the answer.

That's a mint car, but I don't see how it helps much in valuing the wheels specifically.

You're right, it doesn't help much in establishing value. The OP also wanted to know what the wheels are off of and I believed I had an answer to that, which might indirectly help in determining a value point. Also knowing they wheels are only 9-lbs each may help raise the value point. I've been in the 3rd gen Prelude scene for about 10 years and not once have I heard about a Magnesium Wheel option, so I am both shocked and excited to learn something new.

Those look boss. Too bad they're only 14's. Most people set their minimum to 15's.

as once owning these wheels, the weight i got on them was just slightly more than 96-00 civic hx rims, which i compared to side by side on the same scale at the same time, they came in just over 12lbs if memory serves correctly
