universal 4 lug question

universal 4 lug question

I GOT SOME ROTA GROUP N AND IT HAS 2 BOLT PATTERNS. THING IS THAT THEY BOTH FIT MY CIVIC! ISNT ONE BOLT PATTERN SUPPOSED TO BE 4X114 AND THE OTHER 4X100? WTF!

i dont think one set of holes is meant to be mounted on

well they were used and both sets of holes where mounted on (i can see from scrapes by lug nuts) so how can i tell which set is to be mounted?
