Tire Width Question
Ok. so I purchased a new set of wheels and the recomended tire width is 205 but I want to use 215's.
Would I run into problems down the road.
What is the pros and cons.

Thanks

Your car came with 195/60-15 tires from the factory. The size you should get for your 17x7 wheels is 205/45-17. With that size, your speedometer and odometer will be accurate, your tires won't rub, and your acceleration won't be hurt by taller effective gearing.
In 205/45-17, I recommend the Dunlop SP Sport Maxx. They're $130/tire at the Tire Rack, with a $100 rebate on a set of four, so it's $420 for a set of four.
Remember, the biggest factor in the performance of your tires is the tire make and model, not the treadwidth. If you want better performance, concentrate on buying better tires, rather than wider tires. The SP Sport Maxx is an excellent tire, and it has a bargain price right now with the rebate.
