Depends what you're looking for. What kind of weather/climate are you driving in? Drag or autocross, or just a good DD tire? Budget? Are you looking for good performance or price or both?

a good size is somewhere between 195-50-15's, and 205-50-15. i personally have dunlop direnza 101 on my gsr, and i think theyre great... they hooked up better than my kumho's, but ive heard alot of people complain about the sidewall being too soft... they run about $280 for all 4 brand new shipped from tirerack.com so its a decent tire for a decent price. obviously the more mods you have the better tire youre gonna need but this should hold off until you need some drag radials or something

Falken Azenis RT615

205-50-15

best all around tire IMO

a lil more extreme is the NITTO NT01 that wears down and becomes a slick

and then theres the BFGoodrich Drag Radials... after that, its straight slicks.

Stickied at the top of this forum is a topic called

Forum Rules and FAQ - READ BEFORE POSTING

Go in there, and scroll down to the "Tire FAQ" section (about halfway down). It has a lot of excellent information. You'll find answers to your questions in there. If you don't, THEN please ask and we'll try to help.
