RSX wheel offset?
Hey i looked through a bunch of posts and couldnt find what i was looking for...so ill ask it here. I drive a 2004 RSX with tein coilovers. i wanted to get work emotion's in 17's. Now to my question i was wondering what width and offset i should go so its flush. Also what size tires so that they're somewhat stretched?
I was told that lower the offset the wider the wheel sits out on the car...so isnt +43 pretty conservative? Im lookin for an extremely aggressive stance. Further explanation would be great. Thanks
you're correct... for instance, a 0 offset would sit 43mm further out than a +43. your best bet is to ask in the RSX forum, but be forewarned you're not going to be able to be lowered much with an "aggressive" offset.
i have seen RSX's run +35 offsets and it looks very agressive. then you have to start worrying about rubbing etc. depending on wheel width and tire size. i'd run more like a +40 offset if you wanted to run a fatter tire or rim without causing issues. Here is a link to wheel sizes and offsets that RSX owners have used.
