my dad was driving my car and hit a curb pretty bad and now one of my si rims is messed up. I don't have a camera so I can't post any pics but it's bad. haha. Will powdercoating make it look like new or should i just replace the rim?

 

powder coating just coats it, like giving the rims a paintjob, to fix rims thats a whole different story

 

si wheels are machine finished with a clear coat. the best way to fix this problem is search for a used one or get a new one.

 

my dads buddy works at a powder coating place i have a lil curbage from the previous owner on my gsr blades and he says all he has to do is buff it down so its smooth and powder coat it ( chrome black and leave a polish lip ) he's done it to his sons wheels he bought used and im impressed with the turnout the best thing is im getting it done for a 12 pack! haha!
