Default offset fitment

if my rim size is 17x7.5 with a +40 offset fit a 98 accord coupe 4cyl? if not what would be the best looking offset? i think either a +40 35 or 30 offset will work. any advice is appreciated. thanks

they should fit alright but the professionals say +45 and above for those cars to avoid any type of rubbing, etc if you wanna lower the car.
