Default Need help with shop location?

I have a set of wheels Advan RGs to be specific, I recently bent one and when I purchased them one wheel had some curb rash. I wanna get them redone. I have found a place that can take care of the bends and rash, but can't seem to find a place to paint them. I was thinking of going with white, since white rgs are my favorite. But all the places I have found that powdercoats wheels, won't leave the navy blue stripe intact which is a must for me. If anyone has any help in regards to a place that does this I would appreciate it, not too mention if it's in NJ that would help me out a lot as well. If not I think I am gonna try to have them polished or something. Thanks for any help guys.

If you just want them painted, then you could take it up on yourself to mask the blue trim on the wheel and have them shoot white paint on the wheels.

But if you want the wheels powdercoated, then they're going to have to go over the blue (or should I say remove it) if you want to get good adhesion for the powder.

I stopped at a somewhat local powdercoater I just found a few months back, and he said he can't do it. I am gonna have the wheels repaired by a place up north in Prospect Park. I grew up in Wayne, so I am very familiar with those areas. I don't wanna remove the heritage of those navy stripes that came on the wheels. That stripe pretty much lets everyone know what they are. I have seen a couple of RGs powdercoated where they covered up everything and I didn't like it. I figure powdercoating them would make them last longer, unless there is a wheel place that is capable of doing the work on them. The white RGs are one of my favorite wheels. If not I was thinking of getting them polished but I would much rather have them in white. Thanks for the help guys. Is there anyone who knows of a potential south jersey or central jersey hookup. I don't really wanna drive about an hour and a half one way to drop wheels off.

Bath PA (near Allentown)
800-292-RIMS
www.wheelcollision.com

Ye Ole Wheel Shop
Elkridge MD (between Baltimore and DC)
800-526-8260
