Lug nut question
What is the difference between Acorn Bulge Seat and Acorn/Tapered Seat? Which one do I need/want? I am looking to get some black lugs for the winter wheels I am putting on (99 Teg). Please see the link below for a better understanding of what I am talking about.

I don't know, because their terminology is different from what most places use.
What you want are lug nuts whose seating area (that's the part that comes into contact with the wheels) has the same shape as the seating area on the wheels. Most Honda/Acura OEM wheels have a seating area with a rounded shape, that most places call acorn, spherical, or ball shaped. Most aftermarket wheels have a seating area with a tapered shape, that most places call conical or tapered. This is illustrated in the diagram below from the Tire Rack website.
I don't know what they mean by "acorn/tapered" because that seems to be mixing two different concepts.

Thanks a lot nsxtasy! I am pretty sure that bulge is what I want (not tapered). These are going on older Teg steel wheels (94-97). I appreciate your input!
