Anyone know what wheel claims the lightest weight in 15", specifically in 5x114.3 +40-45 ? I'm looking to shoe my AWD Talon TSi in some super lightweight wheels and I'm looking for options.

 

Im think either the Slipstreams or Kosei K1 but I stand to be corrected.

...however at $400-$500 per wheel, the cost can be somewhat prohibitive.

 

How wide? The Racing Hart CP-035R's are 7.9 lbs in 15x6.

 

Volk CE28Ns are somewhere in the 7 or 8lb range. The 14x5.5 ones are <7 lbs

I'm sure you can get some custom race wheels in that range as well (Panasport, BBS, Kodiak etc), but they won't be strong enough for the street.

lightest rim by far.
volk is about 8.3
spoon is about 8.6

I agree with this guy these things must weigh like 5 pounds........my friend had a set of these on his bug and theyre pretty light..........
