I'm considering picking these up but want to know if they are real advans and also what type. I've searched a few of the wheel sites i know and can't come up with anything.

No worries. From what I remember, the smallest was 17's available and came in silver and white. Someone correct me if this is wrong, but this just what I see available when the wheels were common back in the day.

 

They came in 14-18 inch.
