Well I went to go get my tires mounted today, and to my luck they told me they didn't fit. The wheels are 16 inch Rota gt3's . The tires that I purchased are falken ziex 205/40r-16's. Now is there any way that the shop had no clue what they were talking about? Has anyone put these tires on their rims before? Thanks.

take it elsewhere. sounds like they are morons.

 

alright, that is the answer I was looking for. Actually after I told my buddy this, he said that they don't like doing aftermarket wheels there because sometimes they mess them up and have to buy their client new ones. But yea, I will definitly take them elsewhere tomorrow. Thanks

 

Those all-season tires, in that size, are approved by Falken for use on rims with widths of 7.0 to 8.0 inches. As long as the width of your rims is in that range, they should be able to mount them.

 

Yeaa, they are 8 inches in width. I took them to a place today and they said that they can be mounted, but their balancer was broken so i didnt get it done. I also didn't get it done becuase the ******* at the other place scratched my rim when they tried to get it on. So I am going to go back to this place tomorrow, and get money for that rim.
