Default EM2 RIM Help

The size I am seeing most is 4X100 17X7.5 ET 45 but I am wondering about other possibilities--- I have rear adj Camber arms and TEIN type Flex Coils -- Right Now I am on 17's unsure of ET on these as I bought them used. I put NEW Dunlops Direzza Sport Z1 Star Specs 215/45R17's on last summer-- I had rub issues immediately with the height I had the car at after I ditched my 205/40R17 Yoko's. Ended up monkeying with the height a bunch and rolled the rear lips -- now it's fine.

Any thoughts on rims sized 17X8 ET 20 -- Will I have major issue going there with my Current star spec tires without getting wild with the CAMBER?

here are some pix of my current setup. I am as low as I can get without rubbing fender liners in front over every bump. --- they rub ever once in a while if I have a lot of weight in the car.

Any help is appreciated. --- this is a project for next spring as the snow tires go on my 15's tomorrow for the winter.

17x8 +20's won't fit without a lot of negative camber, fender flares, or unsafe tire sizes.

the rim & tire calculator was staring me right in the face and actually answers all my questions. I just need to pull my current 17's off and check the offset so I know what I am starting with then I can figure out what will work best. I have ZERO interest in doing anything janky, unsafe or otherwise ill advised. I drive pretty hard and the car handles amazingly, but want new rims -- in hindsight I would've gone the 16" rim route but now feel married to the tire$ for $ome rea$on (they have another summer at least left). Would you agree the 17's don't really belong on this car?

Seeing as though I've got 17's on my EM2, I cannot say that they don't belong there. 16's do look better, in my opinion, but sadly... tire options are rather tragic for 16" wheels. I've got both, and for road use... 16's do the job nicely. But, for track use, 17's are the size to go with. 17x8 +38 would fit the car nicely and still work with your tires.

I like that idea thanks... tough dims to find match though ... Any suggestions? Lots of 5x100's but slim in 4X100 variety

Dealers should have a narrow by rim specs search that'd be handy

Sadly, there aren't many wheel options out there in that size with a 4x100 bolt pattern. It'd probably be easier to do a 5-lug swap (not terribly hard, and definitely easy to come by the parts).

As tempting as it sounds... I've considered it before if not just for the 4 wheel disc alone but likely would have the time to do it really, it would mess up my seasonal "system". I run my old fat 5's w snow tires from dec-apr - I recovered the 5's from the theft of my integra LS in an amazing feat of daring off some idiots civic hatch in the south side of providence / cops helped some but I got em and now feel a special bond to them. I suppose 17x7.5 ET 45 is my best choice. Thanks for your help though definitely gets my gears grinding.
