Default ditch the 18s for ???

well i got my car a few weeks ago and its pimping the 18s, i like them and all, but they are just a little too large for me and the lack of tire makes for a shakey ride over 50mph, so my question is what size should i shoot for, i was thinking 16s or 17s. and also what color should i go for, i really like the black/gunmetal with polished lip design, but i dont know what i should go for. what do you guys think would look good. here is a pic of what im working with now, i found the same rims by the same company in a 17, but voice your opinion on what would look best

16's look best and fill up the wheel well just perfect with minimal dropping required.

I can better answer your question if you feel me in. Do you want them for looks or racing. Because if you want it for looks get 16 or 17's so you can lower it and tuck the wheels in. But for Racing go for 15 or 16's

well im not into racing, at least not a an extreme regular basis, i more want them to function and look good, so ive been leaning more on the end of 16s, possibly some gunmetal gt3s

Wheel diameters are a matter of personal preferences concerning looks, ride quality, etc, along with practical concerns like tire availability.

Since you don't like the looks or ride quality of the 18" tires, I suggest you go to 16" rather than 17". 17" won't be all that different from the 18". 16" should suit you fine.

On a teg, you can use 205/45-16 or 215/45-16 tires on your 16" wheels; either one will work fine. 205/45-16 is a much more common tire size, but there are a few tires that are only available in 215/45-16 and not 205/45-16, notably the Falken Azenis RT-615.
