I need help figuring out if these are corroded or I suck at cleaning.

They were previously Plasti dipped, I guess this is why, and I'm trying to clean them up.

I used WD-40 to remove the Plasti dip, scrubbed them down with a all purpose cleaner, and the hit them with some fallout remover.

This is the outcome on all 4.

Can anyone shed some light on this?
If there is a thread already for this let me know.

Hard to tell from that picture but it looks like the clear coat has lifted off the diamond finished aluminum.

Some better macro shots would confirm.

The worm trails are 100% corrosion under the clear coat. The rest looks like a combination of coarse sand paper and corrosion.
