215/45?
is there a 215/45R15 tire out there? i looked around for a bit, and got nothing. i currently have 205/50 now, on a 15 by 6.5" rim, but i want to go wider, yet keep the wall thin.
I highly doubt it, checking http://www.DiscountTireDirect.com and http://www.tirerack.com you can input that size and see it doesn't come up with any hits. Since they carry most/all the major brands, I doubt you're going to find anyone else making one in that size.
Are you going up in width for grip or appearance? Depending on what brand/model you have now, you could probably get a better tire in the same 205 size if performance is the goal. For instance Falken Azenis Sport (old/215 or new/615 models) or a Kumho Ecsta MX have a lot grip for a street tire while still being relatively easy on cost. Besides, @215 your existing rim width (6.5") isn't ideal and the tire will get pinched on it, causing vague turn-in feel. The contact patch probably won't be as wide as it should be either, so it would be a waste.

im looking for better handling wise, not so much looks wise. i see wat u mean when u say to look at a better tire in the same size, my last set of 205/50R15 was Kumho 711, which was pretty good in the dry, but shitty in the wet.
i havent found any yet in the 215/45 size, so i guess ill just look for a better tire in 205/50.
