15's or 16's?
I got 2 people trying to swap me some GT3 rotas one set are 15 the other 16. I like my civic fairly low so im thinking the 15's are gonna be better but IF i went with the 16's am i gonna have hell with my UCA slapping the shock tower on my 96 coupe?
You shouldn't have a problem if the overall diameter of the wheel and tire together is the same. For example, if you have a 15 inch tire run a 55mm profile tire, 16 run a 45mm profile tire.
Next question now i have a guy offering me some 16 inch slips black in color and i also have someone offerig me some blades that are in pretty good shape. If it was your car would you go with the 16 inch slips or the clean blades? O and both deals on the gt3s i mentoned werent worth botherig with they were rashed up.
Whatever you like. The differences are mostly aesthetic so it's subjective. Plenty of tire choices on 15 and 16" wheels and the weights will be similar between those wheels.
Im just afraid i wont be able to stay at the height i wanna be at without worrying about rubbing and UCA beating shock towers every so often. the 16 slips look nice maybe even a little nicer than the 15's but i am realllly trying to get my hands on some 15 inch slips. I wish i had of thought it through a little while longer before purchasing the dr27's i now have.

6b. No opinion threads for the appearance of wheels.
Examples:
"Which wheel will look better on my car?"
"What color wheels should I get?"
