Welding ceramic dc header??

Curious if anyone has welded a cracked dc aluminum ceramic coated header? Wondering if it can even be done?

Clean and grind the surface to be welded.

so just grind the ceramic coat off (dont breath it) and you can weld it? thanks for the help!
