Have a 115v lincoln welder set up, its set up for flux wire - but it can be used with gas... I just use it for filling in holes in the engine bay and fix this and fix that... make brackets. Nothing serious... I don't know the model off the top of my head.
Anyways... Had a nut break off from the oem welds that head it to the bumper bar... I welded it back on... Then i went to finish up the weld on the last side and it just stopped working...
The fan runs, there is power obviously... There is no arc, and the wire feed no longer works. (ground was good because it was welding, and that wouldn't explain the wire feed no longer working)... What would be my best bet to solve this problem.

if it is a handy mig there junk, i ve went thru 2 of them, first one board died, new board cost 1/3 total cost on it. well turned out board from fried and power supply or something, second machine i used for about 1/3 the time as the first (maybe 6-8 months) misc small stuff , and it started loosing massive power, aka i had to turn allt he way up to get any heat out of it....
long story short the lincold handy mig , is a base system, can work ok, but i have not had luck with either one, and i bought them both from summit, about 300 bucks for whole unit
move up to miller, you will never be disappointed

No wire feed, weld output or gas
flow when gun trigger is pulled Fan
operates normally.
1. The thermostat may be tripped
due to overheating. Let machine
cool. Weld at lower duty cycle.
2. Check for obstructions in air
flow. Check Gun Trigger connections.
See Installation section.
3. Gun trigger may be faulty
This is from the troubleshooting pdf file online... I haven't tried it since the other day when it acted up, so maybe it was just the overload. I don't know if there is a switch for resetting it or anything... Guess ill gotta try it out first. Trying to weld my exhaust together today...
