Welded valve cover??

Welded valve cover??

Can this be saved? I had a friend tell me he could weld in my bungs and this is how it turned out.

uhh...did you attempt to stick weld it?? damn...I had mine done by a local shop and it looked 1000x better than that. Of course, the guy tig welded it and he knows what he's doing.

This was a tig weld. Can this be saved ? Or should I find another valve cover ?

Get another valve cover. And tell your friend he sucks at welding. lol

I have a B VTEC valve cover with the exhaust side already tapped, like you're showing in your picture (but doesn't look shitty). Let me know if you're interested.

That's funny as hell, I emailed the picture to Greg @ go auto and he said it would cost more to fix it.
