Default Repacking a twin loop

So, my most recent plan on an exhaust has been to buy a used twinloop and repack it with quality packing material. However, I've never done this before so not exactly sure what to do and which packing material go with.

On a side note, I was wondering if anyone knows why no twinloop comes in 3"? Everyone I have seen from hytech, ebay, to Mugen are 2.5" Can anyone here make me a 3" twinloop with quality packing?

I remember a old OLD thread about somebody that repacked their DC Sports muffler with some Motorcycle muffler packng and welded it back up. Sounded petty good too!

As far as 3" goes, I've been looking too - think I saw one one the bay but I was prolly looking at a 3" worldsport too =P. Another option if you're looking into relieving backpressure, mayb a E-Cutout?

Personally I'm looking into a e-cutout (just looking at how I wanna activate it) with my 2.5" twinloop on my Prelude (something about a side dump haha). That way I can keep it quiet cruising around town, and open it up when I wanna.

Back to the topic, you can probably find someone to repack it (or it would be a nice welding project lol) with some good Motorcycle muffler packing material. Maybe someone else can chime in, hope that hleps!

Probably a 3" Mandrel bend is huge. I would imagine a twin loop 3" muffler would be so big it wouldn't fit on a car.

I've PM'd a few DIY fabricators on here and they both said they were busy otherwise they'd have no problem doing it. So any DIY fabbers wanna help me out?
