Looking at buying a 95 integra with super low kms for 2000$, really not much info online about these kind of swaps for the integra. wondering if i should pull the trigger and weld it all up, my buddy is a pro welder. has a hefty hole under the passanger wheelwell and the control arm snapped off the rusted subframe.
other then that the car is really clean. Any help is much appreciated !
$2000 is over paying by about $3000. To fix that correctly is going to be VERY expensive and you are likely going to find the rest of the unibody is going to be just as rotten. Look at that brake caliper.

I would pass. That thing belongs in the crusher.
Damn eh.. the guy sent me tons of videos of under the car and its pretty dang clean other then the suspension and brakes which i would replace. i could get a new subframe here - https://www.hmotorsonline.com/shop/d...rear-subframe/
getting it welded up by my close friend wouldnt be expensive at all.
these cars are either super expensive or completely dead where im at. super hard to find.
if the floor and frame rails truly are in good shape it’s not that bad of a job. I had one done with a brand new subframe back in May of 2019.
Get an R subframe for sure, if you’re buying used.
Buy your friend a couple new spot weld cutters since he’s going to have to cut the ‘new’ one loose from its old floor, so you’ll actually be removing two and installing one.
Bolt it in at the far ends then do the spot welds working from the center out. It’s not that bad of a job really.
I paid a local hot rod shop less than $400 in labor, I think the part was another $200 or so from Honda (I get a deep discount though). Good luck, take pictures.

The guy sent me tons of videos around the car, theres a pretty massive hole on the passanger wheelwell. completely eaten through but didnt go through the fire wall. A grandma was previously driving the car, makes sense on why the kms are so low. she let the car sit awhile apparently.
