Default Pipe Bending..

Well, I recently picked up a ram style pipe bender, and tried bending some pipe, but all it does is kink the pipe, is there a trick I'm supposed to do? lol thanks

Use a bender designed for it. Those are crappy benders and they kink the pipe.

Yeah, that thing is better for bending thicker wall tubing. Like for go cart chassis and stuff like that. Anything thin wall...forget it, that ain't gonna work.

You want a tube bender, not a pipe bender...

I dont know if anyone has experience with this bender, but if anyone does, what thickness would you expect a decent bend at? .125"+? Or would it have to be solid pipe?

fill it with sand and cap the ends with a pipe cap and clamp them on
