has any body ever o-ringed an intake manifold instead of using gaskets? on a turbo car? possible like a bmw application. would it be cost effective?

 

unless youre taking it off very frequently then it wouldnt be cost effective i wouldnt think since to do it right id want it done on cnc.

but if youre taking it off a ton, you could always make a pettern off a stock gasket and make your own from paper. or just use silicone.
