mainly show....YES,before anybody argues with me,there are people who have been saved by these cages.....BUT,it's main function is JDM bling........for a lot less money, you can get a higher quality, safer alternative.look into Autopower,Kirk,Art Morrison or a good local shop to fab something.
of course,no rollbar without bucket seat and harness, and definately no rollCAGE on the street.there are many threads on this subject-a search should provide some good info.

well, i was thinkin of gettin the rollbar now since its the right time to do it if im gonna get one, the car is gonna be mainly street but i do wanna take it to the track the odd weekend etc. im putting an h22 in over the winter and i plan to turbo it as well so thats only reason why i was thinkin rollbar, i think anything 11.99 and faster here requires 6pt.....whats everyones opinion on me putting one in? (i was actually thinkin of getting it custom made/welded in)
Thx, Mike

if you're going to drive it on the street,or anywhere else without a helmet,i think most people will agree on no bars forward of the hoop-padded or not.

i found these pics on this site as a fairly close example of the style rollbar im talkin about getting, heres a few pics...i was also thinkin about gettin swing out door bars and of corse harness mounting bar. anyone else have opinions if i should get one or not?

thanks again, Mike~

thanks again, Mike~
nah this car will never be in shows, nor do i even go to shows, but all i was wondering was if its a good idea to get a bar now or not, as for the swing out option, i didnt know if it was good or not, i dont know too much about it (itd be better if i didnt get rollbar but is there any other ''safe'' way to mount harness', that was another concern)

pics aren't working..i'd suggest a 4-point rollbar with harness bar.definately don't use harnesses without a rollbar.

those pics look like they are of 4-point roll bars not 6-point cages. Personally, on a street car I'd stick with a 4-pt roll bar so my head doesn't get smashed against any bars.

Like TeamNextGenChris said, don't run a harness without a rollbar.

sounds like the 4pt would be better. puttin the swing out bars defeat the purpose of the 6 point. and some places don't accept it as a 6 point. don't waste your money and go for the easier and it will look better.
Hey that middle pic is my car!! It is a 6 point, with the other 2 bars ready to go in if needed.
Dont use swingouts, they arent worth it at all.
