Default MIG gas bottle question did i get ripped off?

I just went and swapped my 75/25 MIG bottle at the local fill station, but they gave me the next size down bottle 125 cf then the one i took to them 150 cf which i had purchaced, when i asked the guy about it he replied "industry standard has changed and they no longer are using 150 cf size bottle, and that the one they gave me doesn't hold any less, they just fill it more". Now to me this sounds kinda like BS but i'm not up on this type of thing, compressible gasses and all, can anyone tell me if this is right or did i just get swindled by some no good trixter.

Default Re: MIG gas bottle question

Found my own answer i think
I called another Airgas and asked about 150 cf tanks and was informed that they are very common, not going anywhere, And actually they try to discourage people from doing anything with the 125 cf as they are sometimes hard to find as far as selling goes. So i just got totally lied to and screwed over by most likely just some lazy dick that didn't want to have to fill my tank. Awesome!

They dont "fill" the tanks just swap them out.. You only buy the size not the bottle. I would contact the manager of your trade station and ask for you bottle back.
