Default Intercooler Endtank Material

Just trying to get a feel for how thick of material people use for the endtanks when making custom intercoolers. Would assume 6061 T6 but correct me if i am wrong, thanks

.090~.125 6061 t6 usually.

,090 5052 works for almost all applications

.125 for applications with
very high booost or tanks that have very large flat areas

This material bends well and welds really well also

3003 can also be used and is the material many manufcturers use for oil pans

5052 is stronger and also makes good panels and tanks and is easily available
