How much to weld this muffler?
If you take it to a muffler shop and shoot the ish with them for a while, they will probably do it for a case of beer or $20 if they aren't too busy. If you find a guy on here that is local to you, they'd likely do the same.
shoot i wish it was the same to weld a muffler on around my house. i was quoted 100 to weld my ws2 muffler, 2 hangers, and an 02 bung. i have to take my car there to see if its possible.
Looks like there is barely any pipe, so its not going to be just a weld up job. You will have to add either a smaller piece to slip in there, or a larger piece to go over, or you can use a hole saw to cut a new hole and start all over.

Hum, a larger pipe over seems to be the easiest and cheapest way. It's going on my beater so i dont really care much about it aslong is doesnt fall off heh.

that muffler is beat to hell...why don't you just buy an axle back and call it a day if all you want/need is a new muffler? i would think it would cost only slightly more and IMO would look better, and probably sound better.

Yes, but that section on that muffler is pretty thin, in the long run it will probably crack in that area. I myself would get a new muffler.
