Default Yet Another TOB/ISB problem

After research it seemed straightforward,
pedal in and noise=TOB
Pedal released and noise=ISB
My car was making a loud ticking noise so after hours of research and troubleshooting I came too the conclusion it was ISB.. Pedal in and noise stops. So we had a remanned trans put in, clutch was inspected and transferred over except the bearing infront of the fork, The remanned one came with one & fork installed.
Still makes the noise, kind of like an extreme valve tick..
Sorting through a ton of forum posts A) people need to update once fixed and B) seem to be split down the middle.
Upon cold startup in N The noise is at its worst but stops the instant you push the clutch in and if you release it slowly you can feel it in the pedal after 5-10 mins it goes quiet in Neutral, and stops appearing in 1st and 2nd, still present in 3rd and can still be felt in the pedal.
Car seems to make a "wirring" noise when I push the clutch in at highway speeds and has trouble coming down in rpms.
I have a hard time believing both trans were bad, I kept the old one and I messed with the input shaft and it has 0 play some in starting to think I was wrong.
fluid flush didnt worry my mechanic so I'm thinking somewhere in the clutch that was transferred from old too new trans.

Where did you get the new trans from? Did you inspect the release bearing that came on it? Did you replace the pilot bearing?

An ISB can be bad and the shaft still have no play.

I didnt do the work it was my mechanic but as far as I know it was solely the release bearing changed in the clutch assembly because one came with the trans.
Trans came from a reputable wrecker/salvage yard and has warranty.
I did look over the new "used" one but when it comes to trans internals I know nothing and nothing seemed to jump out at me.
I am contemplating taking the old one (I was given back) splitting it open and seeing if it was the ISB but if it's not I've just opened something up that was fine that I'm not confident I can reassemble.
Thanks for the reply eh!

Did the salvage yard rebuild the transmission with new parts, is it an unopened used trans, or did they hobble something together with multiple bad transmissions?
