Looking for some syncromesh that will hopefully get rid for the third gear grind that i have. where can i get some and whats the part# and price. thanks

 

go to parts store and look for penzoil syncromech or to a gm dealer and ask for it

 

ok thanks ive heard something on here about friction activated syncromesh or something. is there any difference. thanks

 

yeah, i have yet to see the friction modified version of syncromesh from penzoil, but the gm dealership will have it.

 

but Penzoil makes the Sychromesh for GM and Royal Purple

 

and penzoil is the cheapest priced, haha

Just remember that it is only a band aid...Never got it to work for any of my customers but, some say it works.

If you have a grind...that means you have a problem that should be properly fixed and fluid is not going to fix it.

 

i know that im just trying to get rid of it until i get my spare trans to my trans guy and get it fixed and a couple things added.
