Sup guys, I’m having a weird issue with my bseries transmission (s1 cable type). Started by 3rd gear getting stuck, eventually got it out and now i’m being locked out of 2nd, 4th and reverse.

The lockouts mostly happened while driving at low or high rpm. If I pull over and switch off the car, it would still be locked out. The frequency of these lockouts lessoned after changing my shifter rods but i still get random lockouts (it’s always 2nd, 4th and reverse all at once).

Any idea what can be the issue here?

 

Sounds like an external issue. 2/4/R are all on the rear side of the pattern. Check to make sure your mounts are good and the linkage isn't hitting anything.
