Shaking 0-20
I have a 2002 Honda CRV with 219 ,000 miles. My son said that the dashboard indicator "D" was blinking after he drive it and put it in park with engine running. He came home and I saw it first hand the blinking D while in park with engine running. I hooked up reader to read codes if any. There was no transmission codes. However, as a precautionary measure I changed 2nd and 3rd transmission pressure switch, changed tranny fluid and changed filter. I drove it and noticed that it as shaking so I jacked it up and noticed that the passenger drive axle was shot (broke in half). I replaced and drive it and it still shook. while I as driving the D began to blink when I drove it. I got home and put tranny reader on it and no codes. I saw grease on driver axle and changed it as well and it got better but it still shakes 0-20 and after that it is like butter on freeway and shifts through gears flawlessly. The ball joints and tie rods and wheel bearings have no play. Tires are about 4 months old and are brand new. I was thinking that since the passenger side drive axle was broken on half that the torque and other issues transferred to driver side and damaged that axle. After all the axle changes etc., I took for alignment and it was slightly off. It still shakes 0-20 only.
Any idea on what this can be.
